INDIANA'S OLDEST COMPANIES

 

Indiana is the next mid-west state to highlight Century Club Companies and they have at least 24: five of them are public and 14 are generational family firms (61%).   3. Children's Bureau has been in business since 1851. We were originally called the Women and Orphans Asylum (so glad they changed the name). :)

  4. I believe you may have missed another company. Elk Mound Seed located in Elk Mound, Wisconsin and still is in operation today.

  6. Children's Bureau Inc. was founded in 1851. This recently merged with Families First (previously called the Benevolence Society which was founded in 1835. They have rebranded organization at Children's Bureau, Inc. dba Firefly Children and Family Alliance.
